Welcome New Patients

What you Can Expect From Our Office

My staff and I welcome the opportunity to establish a relationship which will allow us to provide you with the finest oral health care available. Our goal is to instill an enthusiasm for maintaining your natural teeth and keeping your mouth free from gum disease and decay. Our professional team is dedicated to making every visit to our office an enjoyable and positive experience.

The first visit to our office will consist of a comprehensive oral examination including a clinical examination, necessary x-rays, Dental Fitness Examination (gums), and a screening for oral cancer. Based on these findings an appointment for a thorough dental cleaning and oral hygiene instructions based on your individual needs can be set up.

For children, we like to take it slow and easy because positive experiences at an early age lay the groundwork for a lifetime of good dental health. Depending on the child’s level of comfort, the first visit may consist of a comprehensive clinical examination, necessary x-rays, polishing of the teeth, fluoride treatment, and oral hygiene instructions. Our goal is to make this a relaxing visit and build a positive attitude toward dental care.

If additional dental treatment is required, appointments, convenient for your schedule and financial considerations can be discussed with Lynn, our office administrator.

The benefits of regular preventive care, in terms of lower overall cost, less discomfort, and increased health cannot be over emphasized. We will be sending you written reminders when it is time for you to return for your next periodic exam and cleaning. Please call us to set up an appointment.

For Your Convenience

Appointments can be scheduled throughout the day, including the evening. We also have Saturday hours available. We respect your time and try to stay on schedule. We ask the same courtesy of our patients. Please give us 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep an appointment. Failed appointments contribute to the cost of your treatment. Our office complex offers plenty of off street parking.

Emergency Care

If you are experiencing pain, swelling, or trauma, you will generally be seen on the same day as you call. A level of treatment will be provided to relieve the discomfort or control the swelling. Generally, additional follow-up appointments will then be set up to provide more definitive treatment if needed.

Financial Considerations

We recognize the need for complete understanding between the patient and our office regarding financial arrangements for dental care. It is our office policy that you pay for your first visit in full. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa and Master card. Payment arrangements are handled on an individual basis for extensive treatment plans when discussed in advance.

If you have insurance, please bring a completed form to your first visit. We will be happy to assist you so that you may receive the maximum benefits available to you. We ask that you read your policy to be fully aware of its benefits and limitations, realizing that insurance plans do not always completely cover dental fees. We remind you that it is your responsibility to pay all deductibles, co-insurance, or any other balance not covered by your insurance company. The financial arrangements are made with you and not your insurance company.
