Dental Fitness
We utilize a process in the New Patient Exam and at periodic hygiene exams called Dental Fitness. It starts with identifying your long-term goals for your oral health. Once we know what you would like to accomplish we can tailor your treatment, coaching strategies, as well as identify what your role and ours is in helping you reach your goals. The Dental Fitness exam is a method of checking to see what type of progress you are making toward your goals.
There are four elements to dental health. One is the health of the gums and supporting bone around your teeth. The second is the structural integrity of the teeth themselves. The third element is how well the teeth and jaw joints are working as a chewing system. The fourth element is the systemic health of the patient. If any of these four elements are lacking then the others eventually fail and deteriorate. Dental Fitness allows us to check these various elements as they relate to your goals for dental health.

Cosmetic Services: We offer a wide range of the latest cosmetic procedures outlined below. These include tooth whitening (Zoom 2 and Opalescence). Reshaping. Veneers, crowns, orthodontics (Invisalign) and minor tooth movement. To find out what solution is best for you, call for a smile evaluation.
We are a certified Invisalign provider. Invisalign can be thought of as clear braces popular with adults as an alternative to traditional wires and brackets.
We offer two options for whitening teeth, Zoom 2 and Opalescence. Both are safe and effective in whitening and brightening smiles. The Zoom 2 offers the convenience of in-office, usually one appointment. Opalescence is applied by the patient at home for usually seven to ten nights using custom made trays.
Porcelain Veneers are an option to whiten, change shape, correct spaces and repair chipped teeth. They are strong and very esthetic.
Implant Restoration: We utilize a team approach with implants. Our periodontist or oral surgeon places the implant(s) and Dr. Hasken performs the restoration of the implants. Implants are a fantastic option for replacing missing teeth or to stabilize a denture. We utilize the Strei-Os system which has a proven track record of predictability, strength, and longevity.
